05 Outback XT (engine light and cruse light)

05 Outback XT (engine light and cruse light)
My 9mo. old 05 Outback XT is acting flakey. From time to time the CHECK ENGINE light will come on, and the CRUSE light will flash @ 2sec. intervals.
The local dealer can not duplicate the issue (suprising), and they have been ZERO help. (again suprising)
Any ideas???
P.S. yes I've made sure the gas cap is securly tightened.

have you been able to pull any codes with an OBDII scanner?
This sounds very similar to what a lot of STI's do after adding an aftermarket exhaust...usually having to do with O2 sensors along the path of the exhaust/boost creep. Do a search for blinking cruise light or something in STI related forums to read up more about what it means...since I don't know exactly(no turbo here).

Your dealership should have been able to pull the historical codes in the ECU to find out what was causing the CEL.
