Ouch, the thread **** made on FH is getting burned! I dont understand wy some much people hate the new STI. Everyone wanted the GC when the GDs were coming out, and now people want the GD instead of the new one. Car enthusiasts are really afraid of change no?
Oh well, at least its better then the new EVO (IMO anyway :RockOn - not mine!

The thing is WAY hot. Seriously. I cannot understand how someone that sees it in person could say it's ugly!

Car Info: 05' OBP/Gold STi
The issue is that at twenty-two, almost done with college, I need to start a career in entry level sales. Let's face it, I am not always going to meet an individual that has a bit of knowledge about these cars, let alone trying to explain why I spent 35k+ on a hatchback ricerocket. I own a current STi with a WRX wing, black on gold which draws enough attention as it is. I figure for an everyday driver, no matter how "great" this car handled, accelerated, etc. that I could not purchase something this ugly. I personally think Subaru has sold out to the "general public" when I believe it has never been the general public purchasing their cars, but who purchased on value and performance. Specifically the new WRX looks on par with the bland styling of a Hyundai...
I am not a superficial driver, but Subaru has thrown too many 1-2 punches for me to appreciate the performance vs. aesthetics.
The EVO on the other hand, now we're talking. Sorry Subaru, you lost your niche buyer on this one. I can't bring myself to the level of CRX's and Mazda's.
