Insurance claim

Could I make an Insurance Claim for a chipped windshield? The reason why I'm asking is because when I was driving on the freeway just a little while ago a rock shot at my windshield and shipped it. The chipping isn't bad but it split the inside layer of the windshield... Size is just under 1/2" maybe slightly smaller

this sucks!

The estimate would probably be under your deductible.

It's $800 for a new wind shield and about $50 to $95 for the labor. The dealer's cost is about $650.

Yes, you can claim it.

My insurance covers chips under full coverage. They were Allstate and now Geico. It didn't cost any bit more to have them 'fixed'. My WRX has more chips in the glass than all of the Hondas I've owned in the past had.

Call you adjuster. I have USAA and I only paid my $100 deductible out of the $400-500 bill.
