sometimes i can't tell if you're a really good troll or seriously retarded. if you are serious (and in turn seriously retarded) you should look into modding your car back to stock and selling it. you seem like you'd be much better off in a jeep. i don't want to be a dick but it seems like there's no other choice here. you read a ton of reasons why you shouldn't do this and yet here you are, putting in a narrowband. you complain about not liking things about your car but you don't fix it. instead you go and do idiotic crap like this farce into the depths of stupidity. i know you're a nice guy and all but maybe it's time to listen to your wife and stop...just stop. save some $ and in a few months fix whats broken, paint it all one color, and enjoy not looking like a high schooler with a hand-me-down. if you don't take my advise then please, for the sake of your car get someone who knows what they're doing to help you the next time you try to install something. /end rant

It's almost installed except for a rusted bung on my downpipe holding me back. Yes the wire job is ****ty but I am learning. High school hand me down for high school level of performance vehicle understanding. Whut can I say. Imma noob

don't need to be a pro to use google. y bother to do it at all if you're going to do it ghetto? learn the right way to do things and you won't have to make a post in a week asking why none of your electronics work anymore. most people start out noobs but they don't stay noobs.

i had a narrow band in my SS (previous owner) and i disconnected that with the quickness, i personally like EGT's, Widebands do also tell you quite a bit helps with fine tuning.....
<- New guy here.
Like it was said already. Use the power wire to the lighter, find a good ground, set and forget. Wiring is no place for a noob but It really isn't that hard. also, don't just crimp the wires. Use heatshink too. Try to make it look like you made an effort.

In the future, research before you spend your money on anything. Take this as a lesson learned and apply it in the future.

I would say an AFR gauge is a necessity. Especially in a boosted car. Subarus are very sensitive. Running too lean or too rich is a sure sign of serious issues. Even if you dont know what you're looking at ask your tuner what to be looking for.

I installed the wideband to see if my AFR is off from the mods I have done since my tune. NOPE. Tuned at 11.3 at wot and still rocking it.
