^ the AP or some tuning method - considering how tempermental these motors are with mods; it's inevitable, might as well start checking the for sale sections

I went with GMS for my exhaust. inexpensive looks stockish and has a really nice tone/sound. Its not loud but when you open it up the exhaust comes to life.

Stock everything is good. It really depends on how you drive your car though. Do you want to mash the throttle getting on to the freeway or have fun with the car in the twisties?

A car is a balanced symphony of components. Yes, you can give it more power, but what good is that if you can't carry the speed through corners? Improving performance in one area will show weaknesses in another.

IMHO, power is pointless without the ability to brake and turn. I feel that the best order to do upgrades in is handling first, then braking, and then power. I wish I had done my car that way from the get-go.

QFT!

I worked on handling a lot more before power. It worked out perfect. If you want to build power and don't care about being able to control it, buy a honda.

With all the upgrades I've done to my car, I still have stock sways. I never find myself in a position where I want to bring my car to it's limits in terms of cornering.

Real world dosent let you. Auto X or track days do.

I'm just speaking out of my experiences and opinion. I would rather go fast than turn hard. I do agree with an all around balanced car but for most cases, depending on what you do, you can leave suspension stock.

Have you driven with aftermarket sways? Otherwise that's kind of like saying "I've never had bacon, but I don't like it."

Like I said, I just dont do twisties. Sways are a great mod, you keep the drivability of the car and transforms our cars handling greatly. If the OP likes Auto X then he should def buy some sways.

Fair enough then. Some people prefer more handling. I for one, don't see suspension upgrades as just extending the envelope at the extreme end, but improving handling all the way through. To each his own though, and also exactly why I asked what his intended use and driving style is.
