I want to sell my Scooby sometime soon and get an A4. I'm done with the performance thing. It only gets me into trouble. I'm ready to revert to the "pimp mode" and just cruise it.

I had a run in with a HPD cruiser tonight that leads me to believe it ain't worth messin' around on the streets anymore.

At this point the $$ I spent going from stock to 12-second performance is essentially wasted because I don't ever get on it (never make it to the track). The car might as well be stock. I'm also getting tired of the clutch (erratic), the lack of engine power with the A/C on in normal cruise mode, the ricers who all want a piece, and the seat makes my lumbar scream. I'm just getting old, and while it sucks I guess I have to give in to the reality.
Sounds familiar Sometimes I wish I got the A4 also. The Avant sure is pretty.

My friend just picked up a SWEET black 330 Sport SMG a couple of weeks ago. He's got some 19's comin' in for it as well. Wow. That car is P.I.M.P. How's your Bimmer, Richie?

Add to that, the 1-2-1-2-3-1 shifts during my morning and afternoon Mililani commutes in rush hour traffic and you got MY story! haha! Besides, I don't need an SCCA car anymore... Next car will be AT!

I would get an A4 instead of a S4. Parts for the A4 are much cheaper and both cars look about the same.

An A4 w/ this kit will still not be as quick as an STI or a REX w/ Uppipe, TBE, and reflash (from SportsCarCompact testing numbers). In addition, the gearing on the A4 5 speed are short so be prepared to be revving at 4K RPMs when going around 70 MPH (unless you opt to have a taller 4th and 5th gear put in like the APR test car). You're better off getting the 2.7T S4 and getting a stage 1 chip (300hp) plus the 6MT.

Audis are all about luxury and as IS2cooby puts it, "pimp mode". IMO, the Audis are the cleanest looking cars out in the market right now, (interior and exterior). Plus, the Quattro appeal can't be overlooked.

WORD!

I'm almost at a point where I would sell my STi. I'm sick of the ricers & traffic. But most importantly I’m sick of having a really nice car and no one respecting that. Door dings, scratches, and just today someone spit all over my car.

I got the car for trackdays, but we almost don't have them enough justify having it.

Maybe I'm just having a bad day.

Maybe I'll just get an Enzo.

I'm POOOOOOOR. I shouldn't even be thinking about a used A4, but I was spoiled by my IS300. I don't think I could roll a stock Civic or something anymore.

I have no idea how much I'd sell my WRX for. I've got near $30k in it, but I know all that mod money was wasted when I spent it. What would be a fair price for the 2nd quickest WRX on the island be mods and all at 20k miles? $21k? $20k? I didn't put any $ down on the car when I bought it so I'm still in it heavy on the loan. I always do this to myself.
