Pre-detonation would only apply if there IS no spark at all or the timing is advanced too much for the given octane rating of the gasoline used in the A/F mixture. Stronger spark would insure that combustion is controlled, specifically at higher RPM, where the coils work their hardest.

Maybe "quicker" is not the best word to descrive what I mean. "Responsive" is more appropriate. That is why another thing you will notice after installing this, is how more rev-happier your car will get.

Just making sure people understand the difference between "quick" and "controlled". You'd be suprised how many people think high octane fuel is more explosive. I'd love for someone to show some definitive dyno numbers for this unit, but since we don't have an AWD dyno, we need some help from the mainland.

I checked the P/N for the JDM version of this product, and all current Subarus use the same Hyper Force Harness. If you want to come by we can test fit it to make sure.

Sorry, the harness doesn't support GC subies. There's no JDM harness for it either.

I was thinking that as well, but it doesn't come with a pinout or wiring diagram. I think they only want it to be used p-n-p apps. I bet we can figure it out though.
