Sun Auto Hyper Force Incompatible with 07 STi

So my install saga finally ended a moment ago with the Sun Auto Hyper Force System.

I know what you are thinking:

"Waste of money, blah, blah"

"Only takes 30 mins to install, what's wrong with you?"

Ect, ect.

Big thanks goes out to Rob at Speed Element, probably wouldn't have figured this out without your help. Thanks!

So basically there is a big brown harness sitting on top of a grey harness behind the battery, you hook up the Hyper Force to the brown harness, run a power to the positive on the battery, four grounds to two mounting points, and Shazam! Install done!

That is, of course, UNLESS YOU DON'T HAVE EITHER THE BROWN PLUG OR SILVER PLUG AT ALL!

I spent a week and a half researching this thing on the web, searched this and other forums, nothing.

So here I sit, arms scuffed up from taking off the intercooler just to be absolutely certain that the elusive brown plug was nowhere to be found.

Shame on you, Sun Automobile for having this on your site:

Applications : Subaru Impreza WRX/STi (GDA/GDF: '03+)

It should read:

Applications : Subaru Impreza WRX/STi (GDA/GDF: '03-06)

Many thanks to Rob and Speed Element, for helping me out even though I did not purchase this from them!

Any 04-06 owners out there interested in this, which is a beautiful paper weight to me now, let me know!

End rant.

sigh.....
