not the utec, but the factory ecu. i believe that would need a reset. i have had come across that exact problem you are having before. a reset normally gets rid of it.

i seen this problem with no em, and also with ap. i haven't seen it with utec, but i think it's because i don't see much utecs in general.

i think he meant the ECU. have you tried dissconnecting the utec and running just the stock ecu by itself? could be something mechanical also or a vaccum leak

so if i try disconnecting the UTEC and run the stock ECU.. the boost should go to 11-12PSI right ? i hope its not something machanical or a vaccum leak :S

if you do take out the utec and reset the ecu the boost "should" be normal. if not then you can rule out the utec and look at other things

k i ran the stock ECU and still dosn't work.... after i plug'd my UTEC back in more trouble.. my CEl light blinked 4-5x which means like stage 4-5 that the prior owner had.. i felt like my engine was gonna explode if i go past 5000 rpm... so i drove slow home and now i think im gonna run with stock ecu untill i find a solution

did you reset the ecu after you took off the utec? make sure you double check all your hoses to check for leaks.

what you should try is dissconnecting the
MBC and seeing if that makes a difference.maybe a bad boost solenoid? but seriously check all your hoses b/c that a very likely cause
