it sounds like you burned the b*tch. Try driving relatively easy for a while (as in 5 days or so), normal clutch engagement, etc. If you glazed it, that may help 'roughen' the disk surface again.

It may work, may not. I've done that with some type of success (it lasted for normal driving until I could afford another one).

Of course, I'm only guessing by what you've tried to explain.

I would have to agree, according to your description you broke your clutch. Take it in to Sub-sonic. Its under warranty right?

don't think you'll have any problems, ... just talk to Ed (sub-sonic) down in Waipahu.

Sounds like you just glazed it, I had the same thing happen to mine at the track. It will get better after some normal driving. But from now on everytime you ride or slip the clutch you will smell that lovely burnt clutch flavor...

Wow, that kinda gives me bad memories of the tracks. Few years back was running the quarter. Near the end of my run, I was in third at around 90 mph. Wanted to shift to 4th, but misshifted into 2nd! As I released the clutch, "Wheeeeeeeeee!" The most horrible high pitched sound you could imagine. Naturally, bent valves, and running on 1 and a half cylinders. That's probably why I haven't been to the track since. Learned my damn lesson. You're lucky it's only the clutch.
