Where did you go for your 90k service and clutch replacement?

I know we have the sponsored shops on here which I do support but want to get specific feedback and also any other shop recommendations.

Shop:
Clutch:
Price paid? PM price if you do not want to disclose
shop review:
Clutch review?

Also, my STI is mainly DD and i dont plan to do any mods. I cant decide on OE or stage 1 exedy.

I am heavy footed i might autox once a year so any feedback helps!

I have to look up price, but I had Auto headquarters do my and it was only a few hundred $.
Very fair considering my downpipe bolts has seized and the job ended up taking 8 hours.

Use the OE style clutch.

AHQ did the 90k and the 104k timing belt jobs. Speed Element replaced the clutch and, later on, front wheel bearings.

I've been very happy with both shops. Good people and great service.

I get all my work done at AutoHQ. Great work at a very fair price. I am sure they can help you decide what clutch is going to be best for your daily driver.

Just put an stage 2 exedy in my built 08 wrx and could not be more happy! :-) My guy Julio and Japan Diagnostics in Belmont did the job in a day and in my opinion is the best mechanic in the bay area!

LIC motorsports. I drive 1.5 hours from sj to get it done. On my bugeye I went with their recommendation and went with an RPS clutch. almost stock feel and no complaints from the people running them.

Got my clutch done at speed element for 480 labor and supplied them with an ACT heavy duty clutch. Had a problem with it working first time around I guess the machine shop gave them the flywheel from a different year.

Scared me at first but they were honest and redid the work for original quote. Other than that all gravy.

I just got my (late) 105k service and (early) 120k done at GST yesterday. They're running a 20% off deal. Might be worth a call and see what price they quote you for the 90k.

I went to GST for my 90k a few years back as well.
