I can help where do you live?
it's easy... and pneumatic tools makes it easier
1. Remove wheels
2. Remove brake calipers and mounting bracket and rotors (tie up mounting brackets and calipers) 17mm
3. Remove brake and abs mounting brackets from strut (don't remove the lines) 12mm
4. Remove axle 24mm
5. Remove spring pin on axle near transmission (punch required)
6. Remove lower strut nut/bolts and move strut aside (tie up)
7. Pull out axle from trans and then remove axle from hub
8. Install new axle in reverse order
expect to get dirty.

well. shoot some pb blaster on after you remove the wheel hub. you can also shoot some behind the hub if you remove the dust cover 2 12mm bolts. let it sit for a while (read: 1 hour) then get a thick wooden dowel and a large sledge hammer and tap the dowel to remove the axle and hopefully it'll seperate

haha yeah tried that too when ****, Dave and I pulled the drivetrain out of the 97 GF. unfortunately for us we had one stubborn axle in the rear that would not come off. we ended up taking a cutting wheel to the axle so we could finish the job. luckily for us that drivetrain was not to be used again.

Sounds a lot like my caliper bolt, except my bolts life was taken by Jon's electric impact wrench lol.
Yeah, I think my axle is bad too, it's making a really loud ticking or popping noise when I'm turning. It's either that, or it's the CV boot or Wheel bearing.
Was yours making any kind of noise that let you know it went bad?
