help with Replacing my Axles, weird experience
I just finished removing my axles and was starting to put my new axles into my 04 STi. problem is my old axles have a spindle on them where it meets with the transmission but the new axles does not. I know that old transmissions have a stub that the axle mated to so i assumed that was what mine was. what do I do now? has anyone had this problem before?

i took some quick pics of the two axles but i cant find my micro sd adapter. simply put, it looks like i have 05 STi axles (stubs on the axle, male) than the instead of 04 axles (stub on the transmission, female) ill try to find my adapter so i can post pics. also does this mean i would be able to just use 05 Sti axles?

You know what they say about assuming....
2004 & on WRX and STi have splined shafts that fit into the transmission.
Older WRX have splined "cups" that fit onto axle stubs that protrude from the transmission.
