what kind of exhaust do u have on?

 

Ever since I got my new car, I never have been harassed, even with exhaust.

I always was harassed with my 02 bugeye with Invidia G200 turboback even with recon. Just stay away from Chinatown and Waikiki. ALL the rookies work there, and they always are trigger happy with pulling people over.

As a State worker, I want you guys to know it's the C&C of Honolulu that governs HPD and its also the C&C of Honolulu that has the recon ordinance, not the state.

 

hpd is a joke.

 

Someone on I-club needs to become in charge of DoT and change the recon laws

 

its called the Bugeyemilo special, and consists of a Helix dp, Stromung midpipe, and a Prodrive round-tip axleback.

nice and quiet around town (apparently not enough right! ) and nice and aggressive under full throttle.

i get harrased all the time for my hachi. i'm used to it. dont let it get to you. cops are just doing what they are trained to do even if its lame.

just make sure you haven't been drinking if they pull you over.....

 

When I lived in Hawaii I read almost all the info on Recon and what I got out of it was that it is supposed to be for cars that have been pretty much rebuilt due to a accident or something along those lines it said nothing about rims, exhaust, tint or any of that ****. That is one thing I don't miss I can do what ever I want to my car and where I moved to now I don't need a smog check either...So just to let you know I feel the state is using it as a way to make money.
