Handbreak turns in the STi

This is from the Toronto Star review...

"And one input to the control module is the position of the parking brake lever — go for a handbrake turn (do not attempt without first finding out what this means, and then practising in a very big parking lot) and the diff unlocks to allow the rear wheels to come around. "

If this is true... I'm gonna be so giddy... I've been dying to do handbreak pulls in my WRX... but never did because I didn't wanna stress the center diff that much just to get some jollies.

Ooooo... I get to pick mine up at the docks on Monday... I can barely wait... I think I'm gonna try and go comatose all day Sunday so that Monday is a little closer.

Need to get those 1000 miles in by the Memorial Day weekend drags.

Arggg.... still no car... narf...

Can anyone confirm the existence of the handbreak sensor to un-lock the diff?

Don't mind me... I'm just a little mental waiting for my baby
