STi pulls stuck semi out of snow
http://autonewsreport.com/go/?lname=...i-out-of-snow/
Somewhere in the snow that's falling all over the northern hemisphere, a tractor-trailer got stuck on some slushy ice and snow, blocking a city street. That helpless semi was then strapped to a Subaru WRX STI, and the little engine -- and AWD -- that could, extricated the truck from its predicament.
That's cool enough on its own. Yet, what we really want to know is the backstory – did someone say "Don't worry about a wrecker. If you see a blue sedan with gold wheels and a giant wing, and it growls, that's all we need..."

Yes, an Evo can do it too. It just takes winter tires, a good amount of torque, and of course, traction to get that semi out.
I think the Leggy GT pulling the F150 out of deep snow is a bit more impressive though since it wasn't just a nudge, it was a yank.

Saw this a week or two ago...the STi one is in Europe...I think Switzerland or Iceland.
I guess if I had to I would pull someone out too.
Though in the case of the F150...you gotta ask, why the heck didn't the truck driver spring for 4x4? I can't see the use of a truck without 4x4.
