If I may squeeze in here...I'm looking to get an exhaust and I was considering going to Perrin. Would appreciate any info... Thanks!

What kind are you looking for Russ? Loudie or quietie?

Honestly I don't really like the looks of the Perrin. Single big *** can could be fine, but two is a bit overkill on a WRX. I do like the Q300 Invidia one.

I want something that I can open up and get that primal Boxer scream I used to enjoy from my bugeye. However I realize that I would need a down-pipe to achieve that. I don't plan to do anything but exhaust for now. I was looking at the Perrin because they offer axle backs. Cost is a factor (cuz I'm basically cheap!) and I was considering the SPT catback for $900. I don't want to look too "young boy" but I am not too old to enjoy that sound. hehe!

search for mokeOne's post in the 2008+ general tech forum about his invidia N1. he has outside and inside sound clips. also before mounting and post install pix.

if you do go with Perrin, i suggest you get it from an authorized dealer vice ordering direct from them. quality product, but poor service.

Thanks for the heads up! I've been in contact with Assaultech on our vendors forum and they have a good price for the TurboXS CBE. Just gotta wait a month or so...

I'm in the same, boat and I absolutely love my Stromung twin tip. Looks mostly stock, nice rumble at idle, screams when I step on it, and no annoying drone on the freeway.
