good place to get engine diagnostic?

Ok, so I can fix things when I know what the problem is but I have absolutely no ability to diagnose engine problems and I need to consult with someone who actually knows what theyre talking about. Where can I go and get my problems diagnosed (possibly fixed too) for a reasonable price by someone who knows their way around a subaru? Its not heavily modified (a bunch of bolt ons) so thats not an issue... with my Hyundai I usually just go to the firestone on base but I wouldnt trust them with the subie. Any suggestions?

losing power/boost. motor hesitates at over 4k and acceleration is erratic. might be leaking boost from somewhere (I can shift at 6k and the BOV barely makes a sound) but I dont really feel qualified to find out. I also have a slight coolant leak but I dont know where from. The motors not overheating and Im not low yet so Im less concerned about that ATM.

sounds like you need to do a boost leak test.

yes its top mount and I was hoping it was the y pipe. but I just swapped it out with the samco last night and when I test drove it the same thing happened again. and if you could help me figure this out I would greatly appreciate that.

i should be home after 8 pm today.
block your turbo inlet tube, pull the hose off of your brake booster and blow into it.

it should be easy to find if it is a leak bad enough to do what you are describing.

have you had your intake manifold off or loose recently?
