how could someone put the last remaining racetrack in this state (full time dedicated - autox is cool, but not the same) out of commission? i hope maui p.d. catches them, then the court system makes them "pay" either by paying out of pocket or making them do manual labor and fixing what they broke.

i kinda miss the superferry just a little less now.

That's just plain disgusting. Many people use the track to test their cars, have fun, meet other enthusiasts, and spectate. Unfortunately vandals have to do such a thing to spoil other people's work and fun. From what the article and video says, it looks like it was a deliberate vandalism attempt at shutting down or retaliating against the track. I wonder if someone recently got in trouble and get kicked out or have some sort of vendetta against the people who work the track. Maui's a small place, word goes around pretty fast and I hope they catch the people who did this.
