i was SO close into talking my girl into ditching class and going with me. instead were going on a drive up mt hammy... LAME

 

Just came back from Mt Hammy. It wasn't snowing, just raining and there was little ice/snow on the side of the road.

 

So yesterday rocked. So much fresh pow. After going down a run and off to the side where no one was going we'd go back up the lift to hit it again and you could hardly even see our tracks.

Going again tomorrow!

Leaving Boreal on the 80 last night around 930 was insane. the snow was dropping so hard you literally could not see 2 feet in front of the car. Going 15mph is very slow haha. Had to hold my head out the window just to make sure there was no cars ahead the driver couldn't see.

 

Went again on Sunday..

Had a great time after I set my bindings back for the powder.

Until...

I was going down a slope and stopped on the very right side (way out of everyone's way) on the slope to wait up for my girlfriend and her friend. Then out of nowhere BAM! some guy flies right into me and stiff arms me. He turns around and starts cussing me out saying crap like "hey mother ****er! you cut me off!!!!" and I know i didn't because I was stopped for a min on the very right. At first im being cool i say "sorry man i don't think i did i was way off to the side" and he waddles up towards me and starts throwing punches, I push him out of my face and tell him he needs to chill out (im not a fighter unless I need to be) he then tries to throw snow in my face and takes off with his buddies and on his way down slashes his tail out to hit snow in this kids face almost hitting this maybe 10yr old girl with his tail. I go down the mountain complain to patrol and guy eventually gets caught (after doing the same thing to another guy, accusing him of cutting him off) the guy wasn't gonna take it and beat the crap out of him...

I hate fighting but wish so badly I would have socked him. It was stupid but I got to go on a snowmobile ride with patrol to identify the guy.

ah oh well while i was in with patrol filling out a report my buddies went and followed them to the parking lot and talked **** to them until they left.

other than that it was an awesome day.

 

Sucks to read that some jackass was out there trying to instigate fights w/ everybody & anybody. Glad he got the boot (Too bad it was figuratively, eh?). And kudos to you for keeping your cool & NOT allowing his face to run into your fists repeatedly.

Btw, when I started reading your post I thought your story was gonna end up something more along these lines...
