Angry extended warranty

Has anyone refunded their extended warranty? I did and I just received my refund. I paid $1,495 (contractor was API) and only received back $1,027. I was told by the dealership that there were fees, but damn, I refunded the warranty prior to having the car for three months and I haven't put over 3.5k on the car yet. Almost 1/3 was deducted from the original costs; is this about correct or am I getting shafted?

Damnit. I seem to always throw money away. Teiva-boy, thanks for replying though.

So why refund it? Because you will do mods that will void it or something? Just curious...

It would too much trouble to remove all my warranty voiding mods just to bring my car to Schuman for service.

I paid $1500 for my warranty and I just cancelled it 22 months later and received $1050 back.
