Question exhaust cutout??

anybody have it? or tried it?...i'm thinking about getting me one...that way, i can just run my car catless with my stock muffler and not worry too much about cops...whenever i need the extra power, i can just switch the cutout to the straight pipe...what do you guys think?

You'd be the first. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. If anything you should gain a little in the way of spooltime. But hey, question like these, Imprezer wants in the tech forums...

i would probably leave the resonator on to be just a tad quieter and run the cutout before the resonator

I've been contemplating one. Just don't have the scrilla to experiment.

Or you could do the Scooby HRP way (which I'm planning on next time I go down). Just drop the muffler completely.

yah but wouldn't it break the gaskets by taking it off and putting it back on all the time?
