EJ20 Conversion for me too?
So ... is 1800 shipped a pretty good price for a 220hp EJ20 complete with all relays, wiring, ECU and accessories?
Yes very. In a sense we are a niche market and our engines do cost a little more then the average B16 or B18c motor. But if we owned a honda, we could get an engine and tranny for that price

no
it's from australia
But the crossmember is only 120 extra.
I don't think it comes with a fuel pump.
We're still chattin' via email to get the details.

thought so...US/EJ20 and everything needed for the swap should be $4000-$5000......benefits would be making it smog legal.....otherwise you'll have one kick *** GC8....

I don't give a **** about smog.
I can immitate smog legal.
Sounds like it's still an alright price if I get all the extraneous bullshtick. I'm just going to throw it all on my block anyway (2.5)
with a different turbo.

sounds like it would be a waste to buy an ej20 just to put every thing on your 25

The EJ20 has a lower compression ratio which will allow you to run much higher boost levels than just putting a turbo and extraneous supporting parts on your 2.5 block.

just get a Walbro 255l for $100 and be done with it.
true true
Turbo EJ25! MMmmm
..... but I think he's looking at the $1800 buy in.
But, he could get an jdm STi complete swap for no too much more than that. Try contacting www.flashoptions.com and ask them what an STi EJ20 swap will run you, ... they have good prices!
... so put lower compression pistons in the EJ25 and a couple supporting mods and have a much better torque band.

I love my car.
It looks so damn cool.
There is a special place for it in my heart.
Two door= Good Four door=not as good
Sunroof= great No sunroof= MUCH SUCK
Gorgeous stylin'=good STi= still looks good, but no GC8 (GM6)
Smaller and lighter= fun Heavier and bigger= not as much fun
Big fan of Hood vents
BIG FOG LIGHTS
Only owe 12k... better than 35k (already 54k in debt)
Cry less over dinged or scratched paint
STi interior is kinda ugly and too much rice.
Honestly my dream car is the USDM STi drivetrain in my car.
Also, Turbo RS= faster than STi (stock only of course, however huge car payment = no upgrades for STi)
What else can I say?
