i just called recon and confirmed it.. no need recon for rims anymore but it cannot be sticking out of the fender!!! but if you have other mods that need recon you will still have to get recon

I'll bet this information won't be passed on to HPD or they'll conveniently ignore the newer ruling or let you battle it out in court.

The recon office may say this but on top of officers not knowing I'm sure safety inspectors didn't get the memo on this and that's who will give you the hassle.
