crap!!
I was going home from the gym and got pulled over for tint tonite. I have 18% and got a $97 ticket. well at least i didnt get tagged for all 5 windows and my exhaust.
Anyone ever contest the ticket in court and if so what did you guys say?Im thinking that she didnt test the meter on her window and she didnt show me that it wasnt zeroed out before she did my window. so how do i know that it was my tint on that meter? I need all the replys i can get. Thanks

dont go. its just a waste of time and money. ive been to court and have noticed that they are really strict when i comes to recon and tint. for instance they may require you to bring a written statement from a place where they check tint ie. safety check stations. and win or lose the case you are still required the court fee of 25 dollars. plus taking time out of work. and on top of that if you win, you may only get a reduction of the ticket, meaning that they will only reduce the fee of the ticket because the infraction was already commited, then changed to become legal. just my 2cents from experience. i hope this helps you!

that sucks! where were you when you got pulled over? i've heard that waikiki is a place to avoid if you have illegal tint. i think they should just give a fix it ticket. waive the fee as long as you make it legal after being warned. i think its pretty ridiculous. you can't have dark tint, yet mirror tint is ok. i had legal mirror on my previous car and it was more difficult to see in than my illegal charcoal tint. my friend has 18% and its not even that dark! sorry to hear about your ticket.

i was by diae leaving from 24 hour. nah ill just pay it i figure if i save $1 a day till my court date then ill have enough to pay the fine. but i feel lucky cause my friend got one for $300 or so casue the cop tested more than 1 window. Crap i should of just got 5%.
