Cobb problems! I hope someone can help.
Okay, I got my access port last week, and let me say up until this is was great. I just put my downpipe on, so I went to set my AccessPort to stage 2, and everything went fine. I then checked my sttings to see what my current map was, but it didn't change from stage 1 91 to stage 2 92. I am really worried now. I changed my base map no problem, but everytime I try to change my realtime map, it says okay, and then it didn't actually change. It was the exact same problem. Please help. I spent over 5 hours trying to get this to work today.

ok... I'll help you out...
When you check the settings in "Current Map" it will ONLY display the map that is FLASHED to your ECU (aka BASE MAP). This has been discussed numerous times at http://www.wrxforum.com/cgi-bin/ulti...ubb=forum;f=11 this doesn't mean that your map didn't change and doesn't mean your AccessPort isn't working right since it is.
One way to test to see if your map is changing is to choose "Change Map" (aka REALTIME MAP) and choose valet mode. It will say successfully loaded then go for a drive... once you hit about 4K RPM your car will feel like it hit a brick wall... this is what happens when you have the valet mode map loaded the ECU is limited to ONLY 4K RPM.
All I can say is do a search
LOL j/k
Dude you should really read up on what you buy before you buy it..

sorry roofscoop, i'd help but as you know, i'm having more problems w/ it than even you.....actually this is 808subaru, not crazy...
Nate, first of all, you should not be using a stage 2 map until you completely install your turbo back exhaust. Since you don't seem to like to read or follow instruction here is an easy way to learn: First of all, the "Show Current Map" will only show your base map. If you want to change from your base map you need to select "Switch Map" and then press OK, which will give you a list of your realtime maps. Choose a map you want to use and then press OK again. When you see the words "Done" at the bottom left your realtime map has been successfully loaded and will be the map in use. Like Jon said, try these steps with another realtime map, i did it using the anti-theft map to see if it was actually working and it was. Again, i want to tell you that our cars are very tempermental and the cobb access port is a unit that seems to work most efficently when you follow instructions to the tee. Another way to tell if your cobb is using the right map is to install a boost gauge, which you will have once you install your blitz turbo timer. I noticed right away that the stage two map boosts higher in 5th gear than the stage

Everyone, thanks so much for the prompt help, and I did search on google, i-club, and cobb's forums but I didn't find anything. I figured this out by trying valet mode right after I posted. I was so mad, that I didn't think clearly. Jon I read the entire instruction manual. I bought this on recommendations and I am very impressed with it. Well sorry to be such a post ***** since this is only about my 3rd post in a while. Well thanks for the help.
