yes i read your posts, yes i understand that you, your gf, and a few other ppl have 6 puck clutches where u live. yes it says an uppipe is for offroad use only but that it a legal issue that they have to put on there and has no bearing on this topic. they aren't saying that a 6 puck clutch is for offroad use, they are saying that it is not intended for street use on a DD car, thats why they make street clutches. otherwise why doesn't everyone just make a 6 puck and nothing else? i didn't say i did know better than you but from everything i've read, ppl i have talked to with a 6 puck clutch, and what the makers of those clutches say, they all say that they are not meant for and are no good on a DD.
oh and i have a stage 4 wagon using a cobb OTS map since unlke where you live, we don't have tuners here and have the luxury of getting a tune whenever we want. you might know this if you lived here, but you don't. another reason why you should not give advise for ppl here if you know nothing about how the roads are. you tell someone to buy something and say they won't be disappointed and then later you say oh but don't do it unless your driving on flat ground all the time. but again sry i'm just a n00b

ok back on topic. for the mods you have man, there really is no reason the stock clutch wont hold up for a long time and it will help preserve your stock drivetrain. if you start racing and driving hard then you can try switching to a stage 2 clutch, which will offer around 30-40% more clamp power (way more than you need). unless you are pushing over 400whp and drive the car very aggressively (aka frequent track visits and drag racing) then you dont need anything more than that. since you are using a 5spd, which is known to be weaker than the 6speed then i would suggest sticking with a softer clutch. i would rather have a tiny bit of slippage on a hard launch than spend 3-4k on a new transmission. again you wouldnt have slippage problems with a new stock or stage 2 clutch unless you are putting down enough power to snap axels and shatter gears anyway....
