Clutch Issue

So my clutch will grab the gear really low to the floor and seems to be stuck. The clutch pedal itself pops back out but it feels like there is no resistance from it. It tends to work again if I pump the clutch out but it is reoccurring more commonly. Anyone know what's up?
Appreciate the help!

VERY worn clutch disc or possibly air/low fluid in clutch system. the same thing happened to me, but i knew it was because my throwout bearing was not there. its obvious the clutch is requiring more stroke from the pedal to disengage engine. since our clutches arent adjustable, those are the only two things i can think of from the top ofmy head. have you tried testing the clutch disc?

get up to 50MPH or so in 5th. while driving in gear, quickly slam down the clutch pedal and release. if your rpms stay up or go higher after u reengaged, replace the clutch

NP, hopefully its noting major and either just a simple clutch replacement or system bleed

+1 for the master. I had mine do that on my WRX and changed out the Master.

So can you have the master changed without changing everything else?

not exactly sure on the air/fuel ration as wrx may be diff than an RS. as for the master cylinder needing to be replaced, yes you can replace just the master. you obviously gotta bleed the system after and make sure there is no air in the lines. but, IMO, if you are replacing the master, go all out and replace the house as well as the slave. while youre there bleeding and taking apart the system, it swell worth it to replace at least the hose as hoses crack and get crusty over time. it would suck replacing your master, beeing all good for a month then having a hose spring a leak or your slave leaking/breaking. (idk if exactly a month or w.e but you what i mean) lol. did you do the clutch test? any slippage?

I did do the clutch, and it didnt stay up or spike high. I checked my oil, and its a little low, could that cause it if it is not what your talking about?

negative. i dont see low engine oil affecting the clutch system. another thought that came to mind is the slave cylinder. IF the release fork is by chance bent enough to cause the slave pin to slide off the divet and off the release lever, it could cause the pedal to hit the floor. but if that were the case, the clutch would not engage/disengae at all. and you dont see any visual leaks anywhere under the hood?
