Click it or ticket
Just a reminder to everyone, click it or ticket is starting up again in full force starting from 05-15-06. Roadblocks will be running at various locations (especially around town) for 6 weeks, and Patrol Officers will also be taking active enforcement. Be careful and buckle up!

I'm sorry, but not buckling up in this day and age is just...well, stupid. I've heard a few arguments for *not* buckling up, and they all don't hold water.
I look at it not so much as protection from myself, but protection from the knuckle-dragging mouth-breathers out there who are eating, talking on the cell phone, putting makeup on, shaving, and reading all at the same time.

j/k j/k

honestly though, i feel naked if i drive without my seatbelt, like something is missing. which is a good thing right? unless people like driving naked? <<peeking>>
I've built it into a habit of buckling up . Last year , I gave one of my friends a ride into lahaina , just before the lahaina center where the hardrock's located we were pulled over , a lady cop came over to explain why she stopped me , because of the click or ticket program , I knew my seatbelt was strapped in , but as I glanced over to check on my friend , he was frantically trying to fasten his seatbelt , a little too late . Getting to the point , she took a moment to run my plates , my buddy started to apologize , because he knew there was a ticket being issued , I told him you don't need to apologize to me , becuase you're the one getting the ticket . Man was he bummed out . I geuss he didn't see all those click or ticket commercials ............
