How can you not wear your seatbelt?

It feels weird to drive without a seatbelt to me.

The seatbelt holds me more in the seat, and it just feels weird if it's not on. Never understood why people don't do something so easy as a seatbelt, but then again, I never understood those kids who would bike around with their helmet that wasn't latched...

i was going down a hill while a cop was going up. right when we passed, i slipped the buckle on. and when he pulled me over, i had my seatbelt buckled. but he still gave me one.

The ticket was well warranted, and I'm glad you're not being immature about it (calling the cop a pig, etc.). I hope you get off easy on the fine, but also that you start the habit of "clicking it".

The reason why I was in a rush was because I had a paper due that would be the deciding factor in passing the class or failing it. It was due at 10:00 AM sharp. (this teacher doesn't even accept death in the family a vaild excuse.) After getting my ticket, I calmly asked the policeman to escort me to class, with his sirens on so I can run through all the red lights with him. He said that he would, except he'll lose his job. Even though I wasn't escorted to class, I got there at exactly 9:59 AM.

Honestly, even though I have to pull out cash out of my pockets to pay the ticket, I am glad he gave me this ticket. These days, the authority is constantly letting things go by. Of course, if the cops bend the rules a bit, we will benifit, especially with our loud exhausts and speeding. But, think about it, if cops constantly let things go by, how long is it going to be when cops let bigger and more offensive things go by?

I am not happy that I didn't have my seatbelt on, but I got what I deserved. It is good to see that people are getting what they deserve sometimes.
