CEL & Flashing "Cruise" Light???

CEL & Flashing "Cruise" Light???
Ok, so I expected the CEL after installing the HKS dp and Carbon-TI, but not the flashing CRUISE light? Any ideas? It just flashes off and on about every second. It must be an indicator or something, but I have no clue. Tim are you able to reset these? Wasnt sure if I remembered you had something that could.

Does it come back right away after you turn the car off or takes a while? I can reset and pull the CELs were the light stays on, but the flashing ones tend to go away (and come back) on their own.
I had one shortly after my EGT probe went in, but it went away. In my case I think the connection to my O2 in the manifold was loose.
In your case you are probably getting a Cat efficiency code, similiar to what I used to get on my wagon. I would suggest looking into one of the fixes for that.

So it sounds like the cruise is just disabled if the check engine light is on, that makes sense I guess. No sense cruising along if the engine is in trouble. Gonna check the fuel cap just in case, although Im sure its the new exhaust. I did just fill up this morning tho...

Well for me maybe it wasnt worth the money, but I think its worth it if you know more about it. I just dont really understand all of it yet. I think its worthwhile for all the features, but one thing I got it for was the data logging and I cant for the life of me figure that out. Nothing in the manual that I can see either.
It has a 32mb memory card and everything. No menu option says log or save or anything. Oh well. I think if I had it to do over I would wait on Vishnu and just go with their Stage 1 and XEDE or whatever. For me a package all put together would have been best, but Im impatient so here I am.
