CEL with a flashing Cruise light - Dead Battery?
So today I started up my STI, let it sit for about 2 min at idle, and then started to drive off. Everything was fine until I noticed that the idle began to get low and rough and there was no response when I hit the gas pedal. Instantly I received a CEL with a flashing Cruise light. I tried to read the code with my AP, but it states there are no codes to read. Does anyone know what is going on? My battery is practically dead I might add since it's about 6 years old and I just changed my plugs 600 miles ago.

You need to stop driving the car if you have a CEL & flashing cruise asap. If your AP/Engine Management tool can not read the code, you need to disconnect the Negative terminal on your battery. While it is disconnected, pump your brake pedal a few times, then re-connect your terminal on the battery..
Everything should be back to Normal now. If it continues to happen, I suggest getting your car checked. However, every once in a while, my car also throws a CEL with no code to be read. Just clear it and be on your way.
