Cars of Punks

Which of these cars would you most likely find a typical "punk" driving? By the term "punk," I mean the guy that pulls up next to you at a stoplight, revs his engine, and yells taunts at you to get you to race. The same kind of guy that tails your a$$ on the freeway and cuts in front of you, trying to start some crap. The exact same guy that will try to key or kick your car, the first chance he gets.
Sure, your grandma could be found driving any of these cars; but here in Hawaii, I'm finding that a "punk" is attracted to a particular type of vehicle that fits his punka$$ persona.

Honestly, I've been "challenged" by more domestics than anything. Seems to me that people have a 5.0 or even a plain jane Mustang think they have somethingto prove. Those, and some trucks (lightning's, Hemi's). It's sad. Usually it's the older mustangs like the white one in Mililani that has "raced" me once up H-2, and once up Kam. Irritating.

Hondas!

I'll get guys in CRX's that will get a 2-mile start, down hill just to "try" and pass me.

Or

A guy in a "EWA Spec" 86 Civic that will do 50 MPH in the fast lane untill you pass him, then he thinks you want to race and will get stupid.

What about VWs? 1.8T? I've had 3 in the last few weeks acting stupid on H3. The other night a black GTI tailed me from Halawa to the first tunnel at 3am....even changing lanes with me....what an a**!

Just cuz you got a new car w/a turbo doesnt give u a right to be punk b****. But I do find it hard to choose a single make...punks drive everything.....

I've met people like that. A frickin' MINIVAN did that to me the other day on H-1. I waited behind them for almost a minuite waiting for them to get out of the way. I was not tailgating, either. Traffic cleared in the next lane, so I eased over and stepped on the gas-didn't even downshift. The ****er sped up and tried to stop me from getting in front of him. Then when I got in front of him (did not cut him off; saw both headlights in my rearview mirror before I moved back over), he jumped out into the other lane and floored it to get past me. WTF, Chuck?

Minivan... damn. Friday on my way to my home, this old crusty Buick did that same thing to me too. I was driving behing him (not tailgating), and then I moved to the right lane to pass, and he sped to keep up with me. I looked over and I saw that he kept looking towards me. So pretty much from there, I just kept accelerating and left him. It was some older guy with salt and pepper hair.

I guess its not just the younger driver either.

I have a 90 integra that does 13.1 on the 1/4 mile which is faster than most wrx's on this island. Would I be classified as a punk? Oh yeah its all motor too.........I'm just playen I know what you mean by some of these punks. Hiwrx thanks for clarifying I was about to go off cause I also drive an integra.

No, 4080wrx, you're not a punk. I'd classify someone as a punk, ONLY if he fit my description in the original post.
Heck, I was a full-on Honda guy myself before my rex. Get this -- 89 Honda Elite 50, 90 Honda CBR600, 92 Honda CBR600, 88 Honda Accord, 95 Acura Integra, 00 Integra Type R, 01 Honda Prelude. And no, I don't consider myself a punk, just because I used to drive those things. People must be extremely careful not to label or categorize a person just because he drives a certain car. However... I started this thread, because based on my experiences, a good 25 percent of those who drive these types of cars, are PUNKS.

Angry

Man, I hate that "go slow in the fast lane" routine. A Honda Accord did that to me last month going up the Likelike. I followed him from Kam IV Road all the way up the last traffic light going towards Kaneohe all the while going thirty-five. I signaled and tried to pass without even downshifting, and as I began to pass him, it sounded as he dropped to second and took off. Damned if I bit; I chased him down, but my wife convinced me to back off. It really burned me though, 'cuz he probably thinks his car is fast. but it is just a "P. O. S". Face it, punks drive all types of cars. I try not to think its a particular car, it's just the person behind the wheel. I've been punked by young , old, male, female, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, even from my fellow VWs (no scoobies yet though)...so it's all good.
