help me catch these punks!!!
these punks were about to smash my mailbox! here's the story:
so last night, i get home around 2am and im just taking out the trash when i hear this noise down the street. didn't think much about so i kept on walking towards the side of the house when this SILVER 95-98 LIMITED JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE--the more box looking ones--comes creeping up my street. at my surprise, there's this dude hanging out of the passenger window with a baseball bat in hand and about to take a swing at my mailbox before he sees me. he looked just as surprised as i did and slowly climbed back into his seat as his buddy drove off...so that noise that i heard down the street was my neighbors mailbox getting smashed...the weird thing about this situation was that there are a bunch of really nice looking mailboxes in my area but they didn't bother touching them. instead, they smashed my neighbors-1 house away-and were about to smash mine...the another relevant or irrelevant fact is that we're the only asians on the block... so basically im pretty heated cause my mailbox was about to be smashed, not because of the whole racial thing...i've never seen these teens or college students, i've never seen their car on my street, and im one that doesn't have beef with anyone so i really don't believe that was their motive, but i could be wrong...anyways, if you see this car, LET ME KNO!

COLOR: Silver
NOTE: The right side panel was missing so there were 3 or 4 vertical white lines that may be doublesided tape

so they didn't smash your mailbox yet?
I read a story recently where a couple of mail box smashing punks met their match when they destroyed the one guy's mailbox one too many times. He pour a deep concrete foundation, and placed a fat reinforced steel i-beam as the post. The post went all the way through the mailbox...although it did not poke through. When the bastards drove by with their 2x4 sticking out of their suv hoping to knock the mailbox...well...the box didn't move at all and the 2x4 ended being shattered and completely f$#king up the side of the suv somehow. Apparently one of the teens also got a broken arm to show for it. The owner of the mailbox wasn't in trouble or anything for doing that.

Another thing you can do is put a dummy mailbox next to yours. 'Upstream' of course... But first, tip it on end and fill it with concrete. 
Story I heard... who know if it's actually true.... some kids in a late 80's Mustang 5.0 were smashing boxes with a bat. They encounterd a concrete box. The bat bounced off the box and came back and hit the back window and shttered it. Well.. the Mustang was for sale. And the For Sale sign was attached to the back windows. And when it shattered, the sign flew out. With the phone number of the owner on it
