yep...that's it. Do i need to go under the hood or dash to take the exp. valve out though? I had wondered if i found it when i took a little peek one Saturday afternoon, and i assume it's connected to the evaporator though...

BOTH... you'll need to remove the intercooler and also evacuate the A/C system of refrigerant and remove the pipes connected to that expansion valve.

Then go in the dash and remove the glove box, radio bezel, hvac vents, radio and have at it at removing the dash (easy though just take your time and think it out don't want to break anything ). Then you'll need to remove the large beam that supports the front of the car before you can get to the heater unit and expansion valve. don't loose the grommet or forget to put it on... like i did i have no idea where i put it and thats why on my list of parts it's listed

certainly... It isn't as bad as it sounds though... once you start going it's pretty easy. just mindful of the nuts, bolts and screws you remove so that you can put them back in the right place. you'll also end up removing the center console as well and to make things easier you could remove the front seats

For my 3 parts, I'll end up needing 8 o-rings. They're 3 different sizes.
2 in the expansion valve
2 in the evaporator
4 in the condensor and dryer assembly

Make sure you are an EPA Section 609 Certified Technician or it's a $25,000 fine to work on an A/C system.

FYI There's a $10,000 reward to anyone who turns a non-certified person in.

...Now you can repair/replace your own parts/car, but you need an EPA Section 609 Certified Technician take the R-134a out and replace it.

hehehe.

You can buy the evacuator but you have to be certifiable to read the instructions that are encrypted
