Buyer beware!
Hey guys, I recently ordered a SerialLINK which is a little doo-hickey to connect the LINK to my laptop. I bought this from Car Modifications. Now the price for the unit is fixed as all vendors sell it for $70. Trust me after seeing it you can build it for $4. But eitherway, the box was labeled at 1lb and I was charged $28 for shipping via FEDEX 2nd day.
Doing a rate check against fedex a 2lb box is only $19 for 2nd day air. I can only assume that a 1lb box is only about $12 or less.
DO NOT BUY FROM carmodifications.com AS THEY RAPE YOU ON "Handling charges."
But they did have good communication skills.
