Buyer beware: Cardini motorsport

Luckily not a vendor around here.... but still a warning in case you come across him

So I found this guy from CA, and we ordered a helmet and intercom unit for the rally car. Under the conditions of our agreement, he promissed to deliever the goods by 1st of february (thursday) before noon. We needed that el-pronto as we were competing in Perce Neige Maniwaki that weekend and I had to drive straight to Quebec after I get the stuff.... so I was almost sitting outside waiting for UPS truck to show up.
I called him all week to make sure everything is fine, and reached him 1 time he said yes. All other communication was one way with me leaving him numerous voice messages leaving my cell number all the time
Story short - 4pm I get an EMAIL (!) from him saying some BS that Peltor never shipped him the stuff Needless to say how I felt - a rally without helmet, intercom and I still have to pull an all-nighter drive to Quebec and then do the recce
After the race, I told him to refund me the money, and he said sure.
It's been two months since the money left my account, and I am writing this right after I just called the bank and made a claim. He has been ignoring me eversince, not picking up, not calling back and feeding with some ridiculous BS when I actually managed to talk to him calling from private ID number.

Special thanks to Stew @ Can-Jam and Alan Oakwell for helping us out and managing to get the helmet and intercom unit the last second!

CN: company screws us over a day before the rally, 2 months later I have to make a claim throught the credit card company trying to get funds back.

Hi everone here is my story about the dodgy Andreas Cardini from Cardini Motorsport, what can I say, this guy is nothing but a thief a fraud and a liar, after searching for Sparco steering wheels on the net I came across his website http://www.cardinimotorsport.com/ check it out he sells anything you could ever need in the motorsport world if you go by this site, WELL BEWARE he doesn’t, He will take your money and not send the parts, it all started out with a phone call to him, he came across like a really nice bloke, said “yes I can get the parts I was after no problems”, so I gave him my credit card details and got the ball rolling, then waited for the USPS man to deliver my parcel to Australia, glad I wasn't holding my breath as it never came, after sending a few E Mails and countless phone calls (Witch none were answered) after 6 weeks I got an E Mail saying the Warehouse was Temporarily out of stock but will have stock in a couple of weeks, waited another 4 weeks from the date he gave me and still nothing came, that was the last contact I had from him. He just simply would not answer the phone or E Mails
Anyhow I was getting a bit desperate by now so I tried to get the wheels here in Australia to find they had been out of production from Sparco for about 2 years, I SAW RED THEN sent an E Mail suggesting he put the money back in my account but this never happened, Hate to think how many times I tried to call on the phone but I suppose his caller ID says the call is from overseas and he does not answer, luckily I had payed by credit card and my bank was able to extract my money from his account in full witch I was very great full to my bank ($1200 AUD) (Glad I didn’t go with his idea of wiring the money straight to his Account)
It is also interesting to look on Google Street view and see his shop, it’s a bit hard to find But if you look on the roof of C&R tyres you see a small sign about 4 foot long and that is it, I guess he is just a snake hiding in a back room with a computer and a credit card machine, definitely not what you would expect if you see his website So the moral of this story is DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN HE IS A SKUM BAG
Hopefully people read the and are aware of this Jerk
