Surprisingly, the odds and ends are the most expensive. If you want it real low, you'll need a scavenge pump (and all the lines add up in cost pretty fast). The large parts are the cheapest.

Here's version 2. I made it a lot lower and had to get a scavenge pump. I'll let you know how it goes.

Also I know nothing about aerodynamics/thermodynamics etc.. so ...I have no idea what it will take in the rear to get reliable cooling. I've seen some of the rallycross setups and it looks like tons of bodywork if you don't want it to look ghetto.

Could just go with a front mounted radiator, but it would have to sit outboard of the frame rail.

The one, big, problem with low mount turbo setups in Subarus is that you usually have to delete the radiator support, or cut up the front dumper support, both of which are not legal in the class I run.

It's possible if the turbo outlet faces the rear.

Actually if you move the radiator to the rear you don't have to cut anything

Got a much welcome present in the mail today, 3" ZG style flares for all four corners should do the trick.

What do you know about this!

I think 12.5" strut body to fender edge clearance will be enough to fit some 315's in there!

Might wanna check the front tho...my 295 35 18 street tires (on 18 x 9.5" +30 wheels) were rubbing on the front...

How much clearance does the widebody add though? Also, I'm not trying to tuck these, plus, looking at quite a bit stiffer suspension setup most likely.

I've been talking to a guy who used the exact same flares and runs a 315/30/18 on a 18x11 wheel, so a slight stretch + smaller sidewall. I'm hopeful!

Suspension bits are coming together slowly, really all that's left are sway bars, front control arms, and LOTS OF BUSHINGS!

The widebody adds a lot of clearance, but it's not rubbing on the fenders or on the inside of the fender well...it's at the front. If you come to AutoX on Sunday, I can show you what I mean. With the 285/30/18's that I'm running for AutoX, they rub very little, but the street tires are just way too high.

I'm guessing the inner wheel well? Not the liner, but the metal part? From what I've read the only way to fix that clearance issue is with a sledgehammer, as it's not legal to cut and reform that portion of the car.

I didn't know that you were racing your car this season! I will for sure have to come out!
