Boost leak test

Are there a few ways to find a boost leak. And if so did any of your ways work?

Here is the one I have Universal 3 in. Boost Leak Tester - i-Club

You can also make one using common home depot parts. Hit up shaggy he was making them awhile back.

It turns out that my wastegate isen't opening. Thanks for the link.

And it sounds like compressor surge. I looked at the wastegate actuator and it dosen't move at all. I don't know if I need a new turbo or wastegate acutator.
