anybody know if he was a new owner of the sti? ive read a few things on nabisco a while back about people wrecking new stis.. one where a 16 year old damaged his whole side by hitting a pole, and one spun out in front of his highschool, where he supposedly was not showng off. im just sayin maybe he was enjoying himself too much like these guys were.

 

joel(sp), you'd be surprised...some of these i-clubber/suby guys don't even drag or autocross, i just don't get it-why get the car then? if your not gonna even test the capabilities of the vehicle.. just my opinion..

I don't drag race, autox, or race on the street. The reason I got the car is that it's friggin nice, not a Honda, sounds bada$$, is fun to drive, reliable, and is something different. So because I don't drag or autox I shouldn't have got it? Makes no sense imho.

I understand that it is your opinion, I'm just trying to give you reasons why I bought even though I don't race or autox. Ppl question me on why modding my car when I don't even drag/ or autocross it. I say to them, "it's my car, I bought it my hard earned $$$, I do what I want w/ it." It is "testing of the capabilities" that would lead to BIG trouble sometimes... it's a risk not worth taking.

 

Wrong. The whole car caught on fire... it's really a TOTAL loss. All the windows are busted. I think the only thing you can salvage is the rear bumper. Btw, I saw the picture of the car.
