Anyone up for a Pro-Tune? Read on...
Hey Brent or Daniel,
Do you guys know what is the average amount of dyno pulls required to optimise the AP map?
I'm just curious because I noticed Jose had at least 10 pulls to tune his car. Albeit he is running a hydra which probably has a lot more tunability.
Just curious, and would be good for people to know if they should expect to pay for more than 3 dyno pulls.
Thanks

You will probably see a gain, as the remote mapping is a generic map that is tuned conservatively. Jarrad will pull as much hp as he can. Depends what kind of hp you're reallisticaly looking for vs. cash spent.

^^^It will make a difference...
When I received my first conservative protune from PDX (much more aggressive than from Cobb), I noticed a much quicker spool up but more so...my boost did not taper off like the Cobb maps did in the higher gears and rpm's...
My mods were similar to yours...
TBE (aps 3.5" system)
K&N drop in filter
Jarrad will extract more hp/tq for you here...

Brent will put you on the waiting list. We'll try to get as much I-Clubbers on board for the tune, within Jarrad's time in constraints for the weekend. Thanks for your patience

Re: Automatics
Per: Jarrad, AP or UTEK which is best, "Since it is an automatic the AP will work better.
EBC vs. MBC- For the boost controller either will likely work fine for his needs. The DTEC will allow for gear based boost control, but the MBC will work well too."

Just a thought, but wouldn't it be a good idea to let everyone who paid their deposit know what the dates are? September is a bit away, but it would be nice to know so that other upcoming plans/trips can be made around the dates...kind of hard to keep ALL weekends in September free, know what I mean?
