Anyone up for a Pro-Tune? Read on...
I might be interested in a ProTune if the offer is still out there.
Car is an 04 STi currently Cobb stage 2(version 1 AP) with a catless TBE, looking to possibly get a header and intake prior to the tune.

2) During the month of June till July 4th, everyone must submit your $100.00 deposit (non-refundable). No shows or no responses, $100.00 will be split between everyone to reduce cost.
3) Please remember due date for the deposits are July 4th 2007.

Did some research, PDX tuning map was $325.00 for pump gas + $100.00 for race gas at PDX's site. Our tuning cost sounds reasonable. Nothing but good praise and recommendations for their tuning and tuners. Getting excited...

Hey Brent, thanks for thinking of me for this deal. But alas, other than an HKS drop-in filter and cat-back RSR exhaust, there has been no power program for my car. One of my friends thought I was holding out on him and had some sort of management (Cobb or Hydra) installed in my car.

Diego...man...
How you been?
Ok...thought you had more "TOP SECRET" projects going on like you usually do...heh heh...
It's time for some upgrades though before Jarred comes over...throw on a DP and Cobb AP...maybe a header...with the protune, you will have a completely different monster I promise!!!
Even with the PDX over the counter protune based on my
1. Turboback
2. Header
as my primary upgrades...it made a huuuuge difference...boost hits earlier and stays up there....amazing...
Anyhow, something to think about...

Hey Brent, solgood. Yeah, I do think about extra power, but right now I'm kinda concentrating on my suspension. Its been a slow process on Belldandy's (my car) progress. Right now she only sports Prodrive springs, there are a couple of RX8s in my class that I want to snuggle up time-wise so handling is what I'm working on. I've had my eye on an Accessport and a MadDad downpipe, but I am still on the fence. HKS makes a beautiful divorced wastegate catted downpipe, but I think it is only for JDM models, hopefully they make one for the USDM STi soon. Anywayz, the so-so top secret project continues, see you around.

Re: WRX w/ Automatic Transmission
Per: Jarrad (PDX Tuning), "That question really has to be answered by the dyno owner. We tune automatics all the time on our dyno here. If they are setup for it we can, although if they do not have an RPM pickup the torque numbers will be
skewed.
Per: Cole (RAD Motosports), we are setup for automatics, all dyno reads include rpm pickup. difference is automatics readings are done at high rpms, unlike standard transmissions where rpms can be read from low to high. There is a specific tuning range where the tuner is able to tune. Dyno readings will be accurate.
