Anyone a place that could fix my Lap Top

Ok i've had this Lap Top for about 3 years. Its a Toshiba Satalite w/ 1.8G celeron chip 30GB HD, 256MB Ram. I had a couple of games on it lots of pics and vids and Maps for my UTEC on it. I installed a game called battle field Vietnam one day and it started acting kinda funny (running real choppy and kinda slow). I think since i didn.t meet the requirements. Well one day it just shut down and it displays this screen in black saying windows has some type of errror shutting down, and you have a choice to restart it in safe mode or continue on to windows. I've done both and all it does is take me back to the safe scrren again and again.

What do you think i should do?? Anyone have any suggestions. Please?
Oh and i am just alittle computer literate, so be kind.

Thank you,
mario

reformatting your hard drive will nuke all of your data.

have you tried repairing/re-installing the OS? this will just potentially nuke the OS files.
