Getting pulled over for sidemarker lights is the least of my worries and like I said I am not gonna live here for ever I have 11 monthes and counting. Nothing against Hawaii my Squadron, I don't care for.....Plus I'd much rather live over in Europe.

from what i remember back in the early nineties when sidemarkers were cool to have they were illegal unless they were stock. and usually stock ones were amber. pretty messed up since it aids with driving. i guess it was a part of the illegalness of clear corners. back then people couldn't pass recon or get safety inspections so you would see lots of people driving around with holes in their fenders with tape covering them. but i'm not too sure what the laws are now reguading them since alot of cars have them stock and clear. i know washington state can have them just as long as they are amber lens. a couple of people i knew up there got fined for having clear ones back in college.

They only blink when you signal I wired them into the blinkers not parking lights. Why are so many people making a big deal about them. I only installed them and I have stated this numerous times I am probably going to be moving over to Europe and if I end up in the UK they are required thats why I installed trust me I don't care for them too much and because there is a 90% chance thats where I will be living next I went ahead and put them in.

Most people are concerned because some of then want them on their cars and plan on staying in HI indefinitely.

If your car looks more or less stock and/or weren't driving like an a$$, I doubt the HI cops will give you a hard time.

it really doesn't matter if they are legal or illegal to me... I'm doing this mod that's why I'm asking for help... I've already got silver satins help and that's what matters.
