Sorry, I forgot to finish what I began to say about my lack of power problem. Immediatley after I did the technique my STi seemed to spring to life like it did prior the toluene but more so since I added the fuel.
Trying to keep the car in that RPM and boost range is a little hard but the left foot braking makes it possible. It really beats having to wait a day for the stupid stock ECU to learn, not to mention it will save your car a lot of thrashing rather than trying to "Flog" you car into making it learn faster.

Shiv is a respected Subaru tuner, .... as in Vishnu Performance. That technique of reseting the ECU has proven to be one of the best ways to do it. Read on NASIOC to learn it better, or perhaps someone will be nice enough to explain it all here.

"Toluene and xylene are industrial chemicals found in various solvents or other chemicals used in industry or in laboratories. They are extremely toxic, but exposure outside of industrial environments is rare."
We use them to raise the 'octane rating' of our gas. Do a search and you'll find bookoos of info on it.

shiv is the tuner from vishnu, he had developed a technique to increase horsepower to many wrx's via this technique. its not hard to understand the directions. if you don't get it run a search on it. there are numerous threads about it. 99% of the time, we can't just hand the plate and feed ya at the same time.
