Whether the guy did a dumb thing or not is not the point. The point is that you laughed at someone who lost his life at a young age. I had a friend whose brother crashed his motorcycle and died. He really didn't know how to ride a motorcycle and did something stupid that cost him his life. But I didn't laugh at him because he did a dumb thing. I think what bothered us the most was the fact that you laughed at another human being losing their life.

Actually the only thing I laughed at was the "god hates the rice" comment. That was funny.
I admit that I did say "I laughed" two posts ago, but that was after the fact when I saw all these wonderfull responses.

one last comment i can say is this-
whether you see it the way i do or not... i see this 21 year old as a martyr.
he died doing something he enjoyed...and his loss of life hopefully will be to the enrichment of others- to help us see that life is precious and that and any moment our number may be up- let's not increase those odds by being unwise in using just "average" safety standards.

What is messed up is that ImprezaRSX is from Hawaii (now in NY) and someone brings back a thread that's a year old and all these people from out of state flame him here in the Hawaii Forums.
