2015 WRX Models now in!!!
If I was in the market to buy another WRX or STI, I would do it in Hawaii. MSRP + around 4% sales tax sounds better to me than whatever deal you can get in CA or WA + sales tax (8-9%). Oregon 0% sales tax on vehicles only applies if you are an Oregon resident.

I didn't pay any tax for my 2005 legacy gt when I had it shipped from Seattle. Shipped in 2 weeks from Northland if you check their shipping schedule.

actually better to buy through the mail from a dealer in cali. my mom works for galpin subaru. i paid 25,500 for a wrx premium with 100k warranty and lojack. shipping was 1k. but i was 5k lower than servco and i only paid 4.5% tax instead of cali's 9.5% because i never took delivery in cali. just in case anyone is looking to buy off island, just better to have it shipped here instead of going to pick it up.

dealers here will still get what they want for them from the guys who cant wait. Tight @$$ Asians like myself know that 4k saved off purchase = 4k more. I'd order from mainland. That could also be the difference between a sti and a wrx.
