I had honestly planned to go & get a baseline run before I install turbo-back exhaust soon. Couldn't pick my car up from Schuman on Wed (closed), so they said today....today, they wait 'till my wife goes to get it, & they tell her next Tuesday.....UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe 2nd week in Jan. I'll be out there

Should I still be able to see an accurate trap speed without launching?

 

No, won't you have a higher MPH with a higher 60?

My highest MPH is 101 w/ a 2.01 60ft

My Lowest ET is 13.3 @ 99MPH w/ a 1.7 60ft.

 

Higher MPH if your poor 60' is due to tire or clutch spin/slip... If you just get a bad launch you won't necessarily get a better mph.

It seems like everything has to come together with our cars to get a good run.

In my 'Stang I could just loaf off of the line at idle and then romp it and still get a good MPH. My Scooby really needs to get beat like a bad racehorse (read: good clutch slipping launch, bang the shifts hard and at the right rpm) to get a good slip...

Dom's non-intercooled, bent cam having RS-T is very fast. I'll let him say how fast.

Yes I'm still running 13.3 but now at 101MPH. I don't know what Pat was running.
