My friend told me that he just blew his motor. He took it to a mechanic shop to check the compression and that what they said, "compression is way too low, you might damage the piston ring already". And he is ready to get something like STI 2.5L shortblock or something anyway. I wonder if you guys install it and how much? If not, do you know anyone around the bay does it?
