You need to make and appt with Mike and let him put it on the dyno or let them inspect the engine. It could be something simple like a hose came off or an exhaust leak or it could be something serious like the turbo has failed.

I do recall I had a similar problem with another tuner and he put my car on the dyno and guess what, nothing was wrong, I had just gotten used to the pull and I wasn't down any power.

 

yeap I used to think the STi pulled hard in 3rd gear and now I only really have fun in 1st and 2nd. its fast, but not as fast as i felt it used to be. of course, passengers still are shocked in most every gear, but i dont feel a thing.

It used to feel like the STi cornered on rails but now I have become much more sensitive to the body roll and sluggish weight transfer. but at the same time I feel much more control over the car and the ability to utilize these characteristics to hang the tail out a little by tapping the brakes while turning and then gassing etc.

oh well. you reach a point of diminishing returns with mods... exhaust and engine mangaement is enough for me......

I agree with soundwave. Schedule and apointment with mike (try and pick a quite day for mike in terms of tunning schedule). Mike has a passion for tunning, so he dosent want slow cars on the road (sometimes i dont think he likes going slow at all ). I had the same issue as you are having. He had me drive my car around (hard and freeway) with his laptop on, to see my fule and air ratios, looking for any potential knock. Turns out the car was running just as it was suppose to. In my case it was a fule issue (dirty gas).
